How these sounds came to life

This collection has 55 short instrumental clips across 20 listening questions. Each test draws 10 questions. Google Lyria 3.5 generated the music from prompts describing chord frameworks, performance styles and contrasting listening qualities.

No direct MIDI performances or added lead melodies were used. No commercial recordings were supplied as references, and the music was not required to reproduce a specific classical work. The model created the melody, drums, bass and arrangement together.

Clips in the same question share some creative constraints, but that does not guarantee identical melodies or chords. Track titles were written for this experience; they do not identify existing compositions.

Short excerpts, intact arrangements

Each preview is a 12-second excerpt from a generated original. Some excerpts skip a count-in, vocals or a long introduction. Processing was limited to loudness adjustment, limiting and fades. No extra instrumental parts were added, and pitch and speed were not changed. Full originals, excerpt start times and generation records are retained in the project’s production archive.

A taste portrait, not a diagnosis

The generated files underwent local audio-integrity checks and Gemini-assisted listening reviews. Automated judgments cannot replace human listening. The four dimensions and scoring remain a product prototype: your result describes your choices in this session, not a psychometrically validated personality classification or a measure of ability. “Music MBTI” is a shorthand for this music-preference experience, not an official MBTI assessment.
